Join award-winning actor and author Joseph Elliott - star of CBeebies Swashbuckle, CBBC's Big Fat Like and scriptwriter for CBBC's Horrible Histories - as he talks all about his new book series, Nora and the Map of Mayhem.

When Atticus and Autumn's dads leave them with their eccentric great-grandmother Nora for the weekend, they're hoping for a few days scoffing biscuits and playing video games. But when Nora's around, nothing ever goes quite to plan...

Expect wild monsters, quick-fire quiz questions, live readings, and bucketfuls of laughs in this fun and interactive hour! Joseph will also be around afterwards for photos, questions and book signing.

Joseph is an actor, author and scriptwriter. He is best known for playing pirate ‘Cook’ in the BAFTA-winning CBeebies series, Swashbuckle, for which he also wrote many of the scripts. In 2020, he co-created, wrote and starred in Big Fat Like, a comedy sketch show commissioned by the BBC.

He is also part of the scriptwriting teams for Class Dismissed, Kidz Bop, Horrible Histories and Horrible Science. His debut novel, The Good Hawk, was nominated for the Carnegie Award and was a Times '2020 Book of the Year'. It was followed by the sequels, The Broken Raven, and The Burning Swift.

Joseph's award-winning new comedy series, Nora and the Map of Mayhem and Nora and the Compass of Chaos follows the anarchic adventures of Nora, an anarchic, axe-wielding great-grandmother. When not writing or acting, Joseph loves painting, pottery, snorkelling and playing board games.
