This flexible session, led by artist Teresa Grimaldi, is an imaginative making space where children are invited to take their time, immerse themselves, and create an enchanted mask or accessory to perfectly complete their costume for the Story Festival's dress-up day, using beautiful, pre-loved materials.

About Teresa
We're delighted to welcome Teresa Grimaldi, an experienced Isle of Wight artist, puppet maker, and educator!
​
Teresa has a background in Theatre Design and Puppetry, which means she can help you bring your characters to life using unique textures and objects. Her passion is in seeing the story and potential in recycled and found materials—especially beautiful, pre-loved fabrics—making her the perfect guide for transforming a simple scrap into a magical, high-quality accessory, allowing the story of the material to enrich the story of the character.
