Nanny Perry’s Puppets

For all ages

Friday 20 Feb 10.30-11.30

Seminar Room

Tickets: £5 (plus 50p booking fee)

Come and listen to a story about a Gabriela from Brazil who creates her own Samba Groove to play with her family and after the story join in with real samba instruments and become a musician yourself!

This workshop is designed with all ages in mind; adult participation is appreciated. Ideal for children who may struggle with sitting for long periods as audience interaction and lots of movement breaks. The music session is loud - but ear defenders will be available.

Nanny Perry/Charlotte Snook says...

I have spent 30 years in various careers and I always seem to gravitate back to where there is Music and Children. My favourite things in life are my family and friends closely followed by Music, Art, Craft and reading a good book. Recently I took the plunge and wrote my first children's book based on the music lessons I was delivering in a local school. I think back to the dreary music lessons of my youth and I want to to make music fun and relatable for children starting at an early age.
